The Shuttle Hawk is a downrigger release carrier. Attached to your downrigger cable, the diver will take your release, line and lure to a desired depth until released. Then, the Shuttle Hawk returns to the surface to be sent down again, making it unnecessary to raise or lower your downrigger ball.

The Shasta Tackle Shuttle Hawk is a downrigger diving plane designed to carry your release to the depth you want while trolling. The Shuttle Hawk enables you to stack two rods. Another great feature with using the Shuttle Hawk is that it allows you to fish all day without having to continuously raise and lower your downrigger.
- Attach your line to the release clip
- With the boat moving at trolling speed, slide the Shuttle Hawk down the cable to the depth you have pre-set with the included downrigger stop
- When a fish strikes, the Shuttle Hawk returns to the surface while you fight your fish drag free
- Reset the Shuttle Hawk and send it down again without having to crank up your down-rigger
